  1. If you don't like me Tommy-boy then too bad everyone has to complain not only you. i mite leave this Forum anyway
  2. At least i help people in here and other fourm what have you done in here apart from criticize
  3. you're not worth my time. so i delete my threads and i am not gonna get banned for a person like you
  4. Just because you did something in you're last project does not mean he wants the same-thing done in his you can make the windows doors walls any width and height. If you're having a problem with linking them then you need to move the windows up in you're front view this is another way of making the cuts in the wall(s) or you can use the snaps tool. just because you're having a problem linking them does not mean we all will. you can always delete the windows and resets them into the walls. if you don't add another layer and make it hidden then covert you're normal walls down to a poly mesh whatever then the windows will close the cuts up because you convert down. you're not meant to convert the AEC walls down unless you have that hidden layer in the layer manager
  5. complete bull the only reason you need segs in you're walls is if you want to change the walls. You can run divide or run connects with you're walls to change it. You can add How many windows you want. if it does not cuts into the wall you can always create the window, door outside of the walls then use the link and select tool then drag the window for example into the walls this will automatically cut you're holes.

    Bake PArray

Pflow or any SfX is dependent on the amount of memory you have and the kind of VGA card you have. just because you bake a SFX does not mean you're renders will be any faster that comes to the emit start and stop time you key in and what settings you have whether you're using MR, vray scanline etc
  7. it's going to be a bit boring just create about seven boxes with the names then add you're texture with the third photo i would use the line tool and try and copy it
  8. yes there are tons of problem when you use stuff for the first time Krisztian but once you get used to it then it's not a problem anymore
  9. i have tried to help if you did not convert it down then it would not be like that everything would be find in max 8 and 9
  10. sometimes max cuts into the wall and sometimes you have to use the link and select tool to link the window to the wall etc
  11. just because you have a virus you shouldn't format you're hard drive just use you're virus checker to get rid of it or run you're virus checker in safe mode. i always use firefox instead of IE because it's a lot more safer, I looked at the file and there is no problem with max 9 i don't have 2012 and i am encountering a problem it's says "you have a fake version of max please contact autodesk". Where did you get this max from? The newer version of max has a lot more fueature and do a lot more stuff so that is you mite be having a problem in the lower versions
  12. why are you re-posting the thing. we are trying to help. Why not make the whole thing in max? it would be a lot simpler. I don't understand why you had to format you're pc unless you're computer completely crashed. if you are having a problem then i would re-import you're scene. it must be you're scene that you made and not max If attached the DWG file then maybe someone can help you
  13. Andres that's i thought but i don't know why he/she is trying to use the FLM to import his/her models? maybe i am miss understanding, i never import textures because it's too much of a hassle to do so sometimes i just leave the textures alone until i am in max because you have a lot more options. Or i let a professional do it.
  14. i never import material. i always name by Objects before importing them whether that's a material in the editor or an object. why are you using the link manager? i just usually import it from the file import menu and then use the file link manager to locate a file i need to. If you need to add a edit mesh you are either import back and forth which max does not like. once you're model is completed then you should export you're model from DWG then import it into max. don't just keep importing and exporting from one to another.
  15. On the Coordinates rollout, set the Angle U, V, and W spinners. Positive angles rotate the map in the clockwise direction; negative angles rotate it counterclockwise. The angle can be up to 360 degrees, which rotates the map completely and has no visible effect unless you are animating the map's rotation. You can also click Rotate to use the Rotate Mapping Coordinates dialog, which lets you change the rotation by dragging the mouse.
