  1. Studio/Institution: Class Project Client: Class Project Genre: Residential Exterior Software: 3dsmax, Mental Ray Description: I am working on this and another project for my 3D animation class (you can see the other project here) I am recreating 6th and Brushy from Austin Texas. As part of the assignment we had to make our own interpretation of the building, so I had to change the exterior materials but other than that is an exact recreation. I am getting close to being happy with the assignment but I know that I can still improve on it. One of the main problems I am having right now is finding a way to make the cars look nicer. Also i am not following the surrounding area exactly for the recreation, because the area around this building in real life is not that interesting, so i made a plain background building for now but I am not sure if it works. This is just a plain render out of mental ray without any post-processing or Photoshop. If you have any advice on that or anything else I could do to improve my render, I would greatly appreciate it.
  2. Studio/Institution: Pete Maric Illustration, Design Genre: Residential Interior Software: Vectorworks, Cinema 4D, Photoshop Website: http://www.petemaric.com Description: The basis of this model was created in Vectorworks, then imported into Cinema 4D for final modeling tweaks, texturing and lighting. I played around with several HDRI images for the exterior environment before deciding on a dusk city scene. Comments and critiques welcome.
  3. Studio/Institution: Realistic 3D Rendering Client: some hotel Genre: Commercial Interior Software: 3d max, VRay, Photoshop Website: http://realistic3drendering.com/ Description: Balcony ocean view of a condo. Thanks.
  4. Studio/Institution: Ibi Group/Daniel Arbour Genre: Residential Exterior Software: 3dsMax with V-ray Description: A new building in Montreal. This was one of my favorite exterior shots to work on.

I have tried for hours to get rid of them lol, but cannot seem to do so.. Thank you hugely in advance!
  6. Studio/Institution: Consultant Client: N/A Genre: Residential Interior Software: SketchUp, 3DMax2010, Photoshop CS2 Website: http://www.coroflot.com/Res_Com_3D Description: It has been a long time since I last posted on this forum. The goal for this image was to learn DOF using z-depth pass and trying to use SSS Shader. I started with SketchUp and then modeled the rest in 3DMax2010. Mental Ray was used for the materials, lighting and rendering. Thanks for viewing!
