  1. Hi, I've got problem with showing materials in viewport. When I assign material to object and tick "Show shaded material in Viewport" there's 1-3 second lag, and it's bigger when material is more complicated. Problem occurs when I add maps like "Checker", "Mix", "Gradient", "Composite" etc. It's not proably the fault of GPU because the problem also occurs when I switched to iGPU. Also, I've tried to change "Display driver" to other like DirectX or OpenGL, and the lag problem disappear. So the problem exist only with Nitrous (D9, D11 and Software) and it's not depend from GPU. Is there a solution to this problem? 3ds max 2014 Student Version i7-3770K, Geforce GTX660 Ti
  2. Recently I downloaded 3ds Max 2014 trial from autodesk. It worked without any problems for a week. It all started when I updated my Nvidia 630M with a WHQL certified graphics driver. When I opened Max after the driver update it closed with an application error which says that, an error has occurred and the application will now close. Now it opens after a Product Update. But the viewport is completely white. It crashes if I open a file. Tried changing the viewport renderer from Nitrous to direct 3d and open GL. If I do that 3ds Max doesn't even start and gives the same application error. But it works fine even with nitrous viewport if started in Integrated graphics. Someone please give me a solution for this vague error :( Core i5-3210M @ 2.5 GHz Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit sp1 4GB RAM 1GB Nvidia GT630M
