  1. Some time ago i've released little models pack (for commercial use too): http://trzyde.blogspot.com/2014/11/freebies-3-models-yew-trees-ready-to.html I hope you will find it useful Greetings Krzysztof Czerwiński
  2. I made many test of my 3d models of old trees...and now i suppose that these quality is rather enough for some 3D streetviews(not close ups, because leafs so rather flat...). Please comment and give me some idea about better shape my trees, maybe ideas how to improve realism. Here are exmaple renders: Greetings Krzysztof Czerwiński
  3. Here we go! I've released next freebies for you, dear CG community:) This time it's Lavender - 3 bushes to populate with your favourite plugins (multiscatter, forestpack or vraypattern etc.). Like all my previous plants - this stuff is made with ATree3D script(free script for commercial use - http://www.avizstudio.com/tools/atree3d/). Here is link for release: http://trzyde.blogspot.com/2013/07/freebiees-new-hq-3d-models-of-lavender.html All stuff which you can find on my blog (http://trzyde.blogspot.com) are ready to use in private and commercial projects Here is link to preset's which i made for ATree3D script (download, unzip, run 3D Max with ATree3D script, load my presets with ATree3D script and now you are able to make thousands of your own unique 3D lavenders): http://3dtreexchange.net/?p=873 Kind regards Krzysztof Czerwinski
  4. I am working on some smaller trees that I can use as "fresh planted" objects. Rendering with Vray for Cinema4D You can see a highres right here: http://www.wallis-eck.de/bigger3/variant1_four_seasons.jpg
  5. At the moment I am running a little contest over at the facebook page of Silva3D What do you have to do? Send me a reason (best via mail to walli@wallis-eck.de , or as comment on the facebook page), why you need a custom plant (and of course which kind of plant this is). For example: you are working on a landscape and need a certain species of tree. Or an interior where you need a special houseplant, that you couldn´t find elsewhere. Some plants are simply unusual and not often requested - and therefor not offered. Now you have a chance What will I do - on 4th of june I will pick the winner and then I will create a custom plant, according to the requests the winner sends to me. So the winner get´s a tailored plant model, that can be used for private and commercial projects. For details, please visit http://www.facebook.com/Silva3D , or if you don´t want to mess around with facebook, send an email to walli@wallis-eck.de
  6. Studio/Institution: NLnovalink Client: Bruce Power Genre: Commercial Interior Software: 3DS Max (Mental Ray) Website: http://(under construction) Description: Hey all: This is my first post and my third week of using 3DS Max with Mental Ray rendering engine. I'd love to get some comments/tips for rendering interriors in MR. My biggest question, currently, is: what is the best way to create accurate flourescent lights? I'm using free photometric rectangular lights (20 of them) and I'm noticing a huge render time increase as these lights require quite a bit of time to converge on an accurate solution. Also, notice some of the noise on the large green dcc units at the back of the room (farthest from the camera). I've tried to get rid of that with no positive results. -Tron
