'Exploding' VIZblocks in Max

Hi guys,

I've run into a little bit of a problem. I've got a dwg that for some reason I cannot get Autocad to open, but I can however get it to import into Max 2009 fine.

The problem that I have is, everything is blocked together and I cant extract any of the compents within the vizblock and since the file cant be opened in autocad, explode the block that way.

Short of collapsing the file to an editible spline and manually separating everything I'm not sure of an easy way to go about doing this.

Does anyone know of a method in max to 'explode' a block via max itself or via script ?

Well as my coffee was cold this morning, it would appear it caused my brain to stop working (or not start as the case may be).

I have just realised I hadn't used Layer, Blocks as Node Hierachy on import for whatever reason I'm not sure (which im sure someone was about to point out).

Whoops
