pmaric
Hello, I'm setting up my lights for an interior render. One directional light outside of windows and one area light emitting photons. When I do a test render after setting up my area light, big white hot spots appear on my wall and reflect in the floor. Has anyone experienced this issue before? If so, any suggestions on how to fix the issue? I'm using mental ray, global illumination in maya.
pmaric
Figured out how to get rid of the hot spots. Select photon-emitting area light and uncheck 'illuminates by default'.
