SunGlare Posted September 10, 2009 Share Posted September 10, 2009 Hi, Is there a way to override globally in Vray settng all materials with another (VrayDirt) to create semi ambient occlusion pass ... ( sure can do) BUT ... keep all the mtrl displacement maps so Dirt would be calculated in those fine, narrow, complex forms? Thank You. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
BrianKitts Posted September 10, 2009 Share Posted September 10, 2009 no, because the material will get overridden by the global settings, better off to use the displacement modifier and set your displacement by object instead of by materials.... then you can do an AO pass from the global settings.
