LightboxStudio
Hi everyone, I read something about the topic in the forum but I have not read any answers that I have solved my doubt. My problem is I need render a large image… so, i’ve used net render to strip my job. So far, so good. The problem is, when the render finish, the original image is OK, but the elements only take the last strip. How i solve this? thanks

LightboxStudio
I explain a little more detail. I have to render an image with V-Ray (version 1.5). The image is large, so to avoid memory problems threw it on the backburner and divided it into 4 strips. In the V-Ray render select several elements (reflection, refraction, shadows, specular ...). The stripes are rendered perfect (_00, _01, _02, _03) getting to the end of the process a single image. The problem is in the render elements as they are not named as the original image (_00, _01, _02, _03) but they are named by the same name and are overwritten obtaining ultimately only the last strip of every render elements. My question is whether there is any way to render an image divided into several strips and get the full render elements. Thanks a lot.
Devin Johnston
No you can't render out elements using the split scanline feature of BB you have to render them out as whole images. You can use distributed rendering to render them out on your main workstations which should give you the speed you were looking for.
LightboxStudio
Ok, I´ll try to render the image using the distributed render. Thanks for everything.
