Hello everyone,

I have been trying for around 4 days to render a somple scene with 3 Vray planar lights, some carbon and ceramic form a vray material site and the result is, well, how to say...

Interesting...

So this is the Vray everybody talks about? I am wondering where I left my good old markers....

I read every tuto and forum that I could get my hands on, played with all of the settings, rampedu p the subsampling on thel ights and materials into the hundreds, nothing helps...

I have a render itme on a core I7-940 of several minutes, not hours

Setting and result below, I hope osmeone can explain to me why this happens but I am lost for a logical explanation

it's a real time version of the main v-ray renderer. essentially the longer you leave it, the more the noise clears up. not used it much, and there are better people on here to guide you around RT if you need it.

i suggest you read the manual rather than get frustrated for 4 days...

Thanks, I got that form some tutorial, a quick try-out

It is funny though because the work bar was eompleted, I didn't get the impression that is was still doing stuff.

If all else fials, read the manual... heard that before

Thanks, I will try to use VRAY adv 2.10
