At this point, I'm just thinking of a way to add more texture.. maybe something coarse. C&C are welcome. Edited March 12, 2012 by Tron
AubreyM
I have found the best way to do fabrics is to first have a really high quality image/texture and then in PS create the bump and specular maps. If you have a good bump map you can do a procedural with your bump map which makes changing colors a breeze. There was a tutorial online I saw once, it was for wicker but the same technique could be used for a hi res/close up fabric. Basically you create the fabric weave with splines, then setup your camera in a top down view and do a zdepth pass, bring it onto PS for a few tweaks and viola you have a great fabric bump/Spec map. I like the image, nice modeling. If I had to have a crit I would say the ripples/indentations on the flat facing parts of the couch are too uniform. Andrew_Ryan
Looks great. Use a fall-off in the diffuse slot with the same map in each slot. Change the white value to suit and it will create a nice softness around the edges of your fabrics. Have it set to towards-away.

koldo
Great design. Very detailled. Wish there would be some more in the background. It´s too empty. ______ 3D RENDERING
