I was able to get true IBL (with shadows!) using this method. Unfortunately, all of my materials that had displacement or bump maps rendered flat. If anyone knows a good workflow for MR + IP for IBL, please share.

  3. Hello all: I was messing around with the ctrl ghost settings for 3dsmax 2011 and now I get an error message when I use Mental ray with mr sun/mr sky (see attached image). Does any one know how to solve this issue?

I'd like to get the maple looking really realistic before I include it in an architectural model. C&C are welcome. I'm using mr and the A&D shader for the leaves.
