Tron
Studio/Institution: Antoine DesjardinsGenre: Commercial ExteriorSoftware: 3DS Max | Mental RayWebsite: http://www.coroflot.com/AntoineDDescription: Hey everyone: I am testing mental ray's ghost_ctrl features and want to know more about irradiance particles. I was able to get true IBL (with shadows!) using this method. Unfortunately, all of my materials that had displacement or bump maps rendered flat. If anyone knows a good workflow for MR + IP for IBL, please share.
Tommy L
Very nice! I dont like the angle too much, mainly because of the planting in front of the camera, but the lighting and vegetation are expertly executed.

John Dollus
I agree about the perspective. There is no direct path from the viewer to an entry point of the building so it seems a bit detached. My eye wants to go to the right side of the canvas to the brightly lit sidewalk which leads away from the subject. moving the car and pruning the trees would help. swapping out the median bushes with some lower native grasses would open up the retail area and allow you to include a bunch of people milling about/eating at sidewalk cafe etc to make it look more habitable.
