mohammadebrahimian
Hello there I hope you are fine. I make a picture, but the material of fabric is not good, not on shutter nor on bed. What should I do?
aaronmolina
I believe the modeling of the cloth (and pillow) plays a large part in making it look believable.
mohammadebrahimian
yes, you are right, but what should I do for the right material, if you look at the picture, the pattern of fabric are not good and it repetive in bad manner. what should I do? Umesh Raut
The pattern would be changed by changing the map/texture, they are lots and lots available freely on the net. Get something with larger resolution to avoid repetition. But the image doesn't look that bad as you put it out ; and yes, modelling the sheets and pillows better could do the magic in them. This process of continuous ongoing improvement is like modern day unbiased renderers, it ain't over till you force it stop because you have to hand it over to the client. BrianKitts
turn off any reflectivity, and drop a falloff map in your diffuse map. then duplicate your current map in both slots, set the color swatches to white and then turn down the bottom maps percentage to 50 or so that way as it falls off to glancing angles it desaturates and goes white. Will give your fabric a realistic sheen.
