stayinwonderland
I've had this one come up time and again but never to such an extent. Settings are rather high with a min subdivs set to 16 and a multiplier set to 2.0. I'm not sure if it's just the general effect of strong lights affecting reflective surfaces but it doesn't look very nice. Suggestions?
TommyJ
how big is the bump map (if any) that you're using? what filtering settings does the texture have~?
jovanarh
Hi! I think that is the same problem I had... check it out... http://forums.cgarchitect.com/72951-problem-specular-highlights.html
stayinwonderland
Thanks for the suggestions. Hmm, I'm not finding any solutions from these suggestions. Fact of the matter is... I have a strong light source (a plane set to a high level of brightness) and a ton of bumps with some reflectivity (Jovana, your door was flat). So I think it's just by design that we're going to have one pixel highlights. I have turned off displacement on the walls which improves things slightly. I'm thinking I might have to solve it in the paint-over.
