Start with: F - 16 Shutter - 50 ISO - 160 and then you should be able to get brighter or darker results by raising and lowering the F value. I also would un-tick Vignette. Newer versions have, http://help.chaosgroup.com/vray/help/200R1/vray_exposure.htm My version is 1.5 and all exposure is done with the Physical Camera only.
