stanislavmikhailov
Hello. My name is Stas, and at this time I work in the architectural studio as a visualizer. In my free time I sometimes make models of furniture and other objects. I would like to try to sell my models at turbosquid or other services. In this topic I would like to consult with you and ask you what models for architectural visualization are maximum demand. I do not want to lose time in vain and would therefore like to ask you what in your opinion now sells better, what would you be willing to buy, what models would be helpful for you, and in general how do you think is it really possible to earn some money that way? For example, I planned to model such necessary objects for architectural visualization as hi-end furniture sets made in one style, vegetation models (grass, bushes, trees), sets of books to fill shelves, stones and other objects. You can see examples of my models in my portfolio: https://www.behance.net/gallery/8961429/3d-foliage-models-grass https://www.behance.net/gallery/3568451/Furniture-and-objects P.S. Whether there are other ways of selling models except of royalty free stock sale services?
M V
There is so much of this stuff available. The one giant hole I see in Arch Viz is decent 3D people. I would focus on this and make a ton of cash if you do it right. I really like the way 3D Sky has their service setup. I just can never justify paying the prices that TurboSquid has listed. heshamelshipli
I think beds are the most wanted models. you can find a lot of chairs and armchairs and sofas models on the web but you can't find beds done with Marvelous Designer with a lot of details. According to Turbosquid Site humans and trucks and sexual organs listed on the most searched items. I can't give you the whole list because Turbosquid terms of use " All Marketplace Reports are confidential and for your use only. They may not be distributed or shared with others." The most sold Item in my models collection was the coffee cup you can find it here : http://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/coffee-cup-3d-model/841853 Another tip for you that turbosquid made a new site called pixelsquid.com It is beta now and you can only log in using turbosquid account. It is a site that sells 2D Images of 3D rendered models. Renders are 2K and 4k and they will render it for you using Turbosquid Render farm. So you can earn money with both 3D models and 2D Images Have fun and keep going and make a little search on the web about the model you want to make. Try to make unique models
padre.ayuso
Once I put some furniture to sell (3D models and was not selling at all. I asked the owners of the website and they suggested that the latest technical gadgets will sell well as well as cars, etc. I don't do those, so I did not bother to put anything anymore. I guess also a market to think with is gaming, so battle axes, swords, guns, Mario and Luigi , animals, generic monsters, etc., those would be some ideas. notamondayfan
My best seller is this http://www.turbosquid.com/FullPreview/Index.cfm?ID=661013&seo=0 This is 2nd http://www.turbosquid.com/FullPreview/Index.cfm?ID=731945&seo=0 If you model something for a project, put it on Turbosquid, and see how it sells. As you can see, my 1st and 2nd are both kitchen items, but then again my worst item (0 sales) is this http://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/rangemaster-hi-lite-range-cooker-3d-model/811044 which I thought would be a great seller. Try and find items that aren't on the market, and have mass appeal.

notamondayfan
Very nice. Just improve the textures and the presentation images and I don't see why these shouldn't sell. Dean
