V-ray light and "blotchiness" issues

Hi!

I am rendering an exterior scene, with windows showing the interior. I am having issues with changes in my light levels and amount of "blotches" changing seemingly random. I can do a test render, close and reopen the file, and it seems like something has shifted. The render with same settings is noticeably darker og the interior light cause spots on all the interior walls. The spots are a problem with the tests also - but got worse.

-I have a vray sun and vray light dome with HDRI. All subdivides are set to 32 on all lightsources, including interior IES.

-Gamma 2,2

-Adaptive subdivision ( changed the settings to HQ with no change. (I actually cot a better result by changeing it to Adaptive, but I am not familiar with the difference of the two.

-Noise threshold 0,005

The HDRI map also changes to a different one when I close and reopen, and when i reload the one I want its much darker - even in the materials browser this is apparent.

I have completely changed the scene once already - moving everyting over to a clean file, but the problem reappeared here. The light got better by replacing the sun - but i dont want to do that everytime i open the file.

I will be grateful for any advice as I have spent some time trying to fix this. And for the record - I am abit rusty, so if there are any other ovious mistakes, i accept constructive critisism:)
