fedemast
Hi, Ive never posted in the forum, but I always use it to learn about arch viz. My english is not so good so I apologize in advance. Im currently trying to model an entrance for a small building, its a renovation, and its really important that I give a great impression to land this architect The problem is that he asked me to combine glass and a sort of a brick stone wall that gets involved really nice with lights, so I don't know how to model it or create a texture that allows me to generate this effect. Ive been looking for tutorials or textures online, but I can't get corners of the bricks good enough. What do you recommend? Some sort of individual modeling of bricks (please don't haha)? Some kind of texture? Im using vray and 3ds Max. Here I leave the reference image Im using. Thanks everyone!!!
martinhoura
model it get floor generator script ( https://cg-source.com/floorgenerator.php ), use that to model your brick wall, find some nice brick texture from cgtextures, put some uplights there, done. Corey Beaulieu
I would model it in the areas your cameras are closest too and map the rest. Floor Generator is fine, but if you want a kind of age to the bricks I might suggest the Dibris Maker: http://www.debrismaker.aarondabelow.com/v1/
