I am using 3ds Max 2015 and Vray 3.20

I need help to improve this image, is too dark, using like ISO 4500, F 8.0, Shutter speed 5.0

Also, that red spot, I don't know how to reduce them. Is this a photon map issue?

Thanks for any help

it looks like you don't have any lights inside of that area.

Setup your scene just like it would be in real life, put as many light as they are in the architectural plan. Review the intensity, then adjust your exposure as need it, for an interior like that only lit by exterior light your exposure still to high.

That red area is color bouncing from something in your scene, maybe an object with Autodesk materials or something with 100 pure color.

Depending if your GI setting this can be more obvious because the low quality settings in your GI.

Adjust the exposure until it is correct? Are you actually using photon mapping? That's a name I have not heard in a long time.
