Recommended Posts

Hi,

i have recently assembled a workstation with nvidia gtx 1060. i mainly use photoshop, 3ds max with vray, illustrator.

intel i6800k

motherboard- asus x99 strix

4x8gb ddr4 corsair vengeance ram

2tb hard drive

250gb ssd

nvidia gtx 1060 graphics card

corsair h110i gtx

Please suggest a monitor preferably within 25" which would be ideal for this configuration and my line of work. dell, asus,hp,lg,samsung, acer and benq these are the companies that have service centers available easily in my country. My budget is around 350$

Thank you

O boy, you have so may options. You bought something already?

Pls let me know some of the options. Dell "up2516d" seems to have lot of negative reviews too, but the specs are good and I am getting a good deal from Dell. If you can recommend some models it will be of great help.

The UP2516D has slightly better features out of the box (esp. colors), but as you mentioned, there are some problems with bleeding etc. so for many people the U2515H should be a safer choice. If you don't need the wider color gamut, then go for the U2515H, especially if it's cheaper.

For me it's a hard decision for this price. For slightly more money, you could see a 27" monitor with the same resolution (1440p), which imo would be a much more balanced choice. Can you raise 100$ more for this monitor? If you can, it's worth waiting a little and have a better monitor for time to come.

I was tempted by the up2516d specs.I got the quotation for UP2516D at $440 and U2515H at $380.But i think i will go with safer of the two options with u2515h.I did think abt 27" monitors but any dell ultrasharp 27" monitor on the market right now will cost around $600-$700 in india which is quite outside my price range. Thanks,i really appreciate the help.
