Distributed render Vray Next

Hi

I am wondering if I want to use the feature "distributed rendering" in vray next with 3ds max 2019.

Do i need to install max with vray on every system on network ?

or this feature would only use RAM of those systems on network ?

If yes I need to install, is it possible to render on my system but using only ram of other systems ?

I am asking this silly question because its a long process of installing max with vray on all other system

Yes, you need to install max/vray/plugins on each system. With Vray Next, the standard purchase includes 1 workstation and 1 render node license so, if you have more than 2 systems, you will need to purchase additional render-only licenses for 150 euros annually or something like that.

Max requires no additional purchase for render nodes.

Another option is to use Vray Cloud but you pay as you go with that.
