Hello,

I recently bought an RTX 2060 SUPER at a great price.

And i wanted to know if it was possible to couple another one

to boost my performance when I make GPU renderings like Redshift and especially Vray Next.

they do not support the Nvidia link or SLI.. Only MultiGPU, I have an AORUS x470 supergaming motherboard

with a PCI x16 and a second 8x.

Is it worth it for you?

Thank you for your answers :)

For what I understand only the top-end Quadros video card can share the memory with Nvidia Link.

Red Shift has a sharing memory system but is not the same. it may work but I don't use Redshift, you may ask their technicians.

VRay also has a workaround for memory but also shares the memory with the CPU, so in your case, you still be using 8 Gb from the video card for each card separate but not shared.

BTW How you like that 2060 Super?

have you tried with Unreal Raytracing?

Hello Francisco !

First of all thank you for your reply!

I finally bought another one and I was not disappointed,

I gained 90% speed on my test renderings

it's really impressive even with my PCI 16x8 port ...

For me it is an excellent value for money, it is only 330 dollars

compared to an RTX 2080 TI with which in rendering I manage to have the same performance with the two cards.

Unfortunately for Unreal I haven't taken the time to test yet! soon ;)

Good, Glad it worked for you.

The RTX 2060 Super is an excellent choice, price/performance ratio.

I just got an RTX 2070 Super to replace my already failing Quadro M4000. I had a few gift cards from Christmas :p :P for Best Buy so for me it was ok to choose the RTX 2070 instead, but if I didn't have those coupons I would definitely choose the RTX 2060.

Red Shift is a insanely fast raytracer.
