Mirza Link Manager allows Models coming from your CAD/BIM program to be imported, cleaned and reorganized to result in one mesh per material.

 

All materials, modifiers and latest changes on properties applied in 3ds Max remain intact while the Live linked file/mesh is updated externally and in sync with 3ds max recent changes when re-imported .

 

Forest Pack object's distribution surfaces are also updated to the new corresponding meshes.
