It's been too long since any new photos have been posted, so I guess I'm going to have to shame you guys by posting photos of the day for a while. Which will be easy, since I just got back from 3 weeks in Europe.

This is in Manarola, Italy (one of the Cinque Terre). It's late in the day and the locals are bringing their boats in for the evening. They have a crane for some of the large boats but the smaller ones are managed by hand.

I doubt i'll be able to keep up with daily, since I've been very slack on the camera lately, but I've got a couple from this week that aren't embarrassing!

Very nice. I think those must be some of the best shots taken through windows I've seen.

This is in Vernazza, Italy. Some of the locals fish from the pier in the morning, before the tourist boats start coming in. They use hooks baited with yesterday's bread, and catch anchovies, which I'm told taste good fresh but I don't believe it.
