  1. Thanks Damu, The Glass windows for the exterior are the same for the Interior. No change. I just used a simple VRay Material with Reflection of around 45 (grayscale) no fresnel and Refraction of around 250.
  2. Thanks AubreyM, A missing Cameraman in reflections is way too common in 3D renders. I hope others will start adding this touch of detail as well The girl in the picture is my wife. Thanks again!!
  3. An additional image. Sorry, was limited to 5 on first post.
  4. Studio/Institution: Personal Genre: Residential Interior Software: 3d Max, Vray Description: I created this modern home a few months ago. Wanted to share with you guys. It was created in Max and Vray. The home is fictional and the people in the photos are my family. Hope you enjoy!
  5. Your volumetrics are way too distracting, Its almost like smoke was in the room. It also is blocking like 80% of your detail. You really dont want to hide your work behind a cloud of volume lights, right? Good start though!
  6. Hello Tom,

Question about Stratus Farm. I noticed you mentioned you will be supporting Max 2012 in a few weeks. Will you also support VRay 2.0? I see 1.5 is supported, but not 2.0?

    Thanks!

  7. Looks nice! Lots of soft, desaturated textures. Works well with the daylight environment. But I agree that the outside plants are a bit distracting.
  8. I actually like the bed sheets. The only thing that bothers me is the glow on the ceiling lights. Feels like its too much, but that could just be me. Also, are you using some type of toonshader? Some objects feel like they have a slight black outline around them, especially the lamps. Not sure, maybe Im mistaken. Maybe you can also show different versions, like a render with only the lamps turned on and the ceiling lights off, could be cool and dynamic Overall it looks great!
  9. On your exterior - your grass looks almost black. You have a lot of dark shadows were light would naturally bounce around and wouldn't be that dark. You can easily spot the tiling in your concrete. Your road is extreme clean and black maybe adding some lines would help? Your interior looks better, but again a lot of dark shadows. It also feels like you used the same materials on your interior walls as your exterior. Maybe bringing in more color will help the scene.
  10. Studio/Institution: Freelance Genre: Commercial Interior Software: 3d Max, Vray Description: I created this image in 3d max and designed the bar myself. This was done in my free time for myself.
  11. Is it not possible to edit your name on this forum? Im not talking about screenname, but real name. I want to change mine because I signed up a LONG time ago using my nickname and I want to switch it to my real name... For professional reasons. But I don't see any option to edit your name. Is this possible???
  12. The yellow wall on the left looks a bit strange. It looks very dirty in between the windows at the top and bottom. Was that intentional or a GI issue?
