  1. Hi everyone CG artists! I can offer a very good tool for converting materials from V-Ray to Standard, as well as to convert many other materials to V-Ray! This tool is called "V-RayMtl Converter 3". V-RayMtl Converter 3 - is a new version of the maxscript known as V-RayMtl Converter. This version is the next generation after version 2.5 and in comparison with the previous version new features and improvements appeared in this version: support for more materials, maps and other scene components, additional selection of materials for conversion, as well as more flexible options for converting and fixing the scene and its components. Here is a brief description of its features: "V-RayMtl Converter 3 - The useful tool for automating such a time-consuming process as converting different types of materials (currently supported: Standard, Raytrace, Autodesk Material, Architectural, mrArch & Design, Corona Renderer, fr-Advanced, Brazil Advanced) to V-Ray materials, as well as the reverse conversion to Standard Materials (which is very useful for game developers, modelers etc.)" More information about this tool can be found here: http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/v-raymtl-converter Or here: http://maxtools.3dzver.ru/vmc Good luck and great creative work! Best regards, MAX Tools
  2. After inporting a Revit file and using the VRay scene converter to convert all materials, how do I know the materials are now VRay materials? They still appear the same in the material editor. And I'm not seeing any VRay material editing options.
