  1. Hi , ive created this simple building and used boolean to cut some areas. now i got a really messed up topology which makes it real hard for texturing matters. how do i fix those edges highlighted in the picture. i want to make them as one solid quad rather than having multiple triangle shaped faces. would greatly appreciate any tips/advice. thanks
  2. Hello I've been following a few tutorials online on how to create realistic hair in 3ds max and i seem to have run into a problem I can't solve. I followed Joe Alter's online tutorials as well as recommendations from other members to add p_hair shader and every time I render I only seem to get a few spikes pointing out of my model's head. I have tried to increase the number of hair counts but I'm pretty sure that is not my problem. Can someone please help me with this by telling me what I might be doing wrong. I am pretty sure all the steps from Joe were followed as well as steps in installing and using p_hair shader. I'm using the mr prim option also. Further more I've applied a normal map to give my character some more definition in the face but that doesn't seem to work either. Any suggestions in this area? Thank you guys in advance! Bobby
