  3. Studio/Institution: HAMK Genre: Residential Interior Software: 3Ds Max, VRay, Marvelous Designer 2 Description: Hello folks, I'm new to this forum and architecture in general and I've already received a great amount of knowledge via this great site. This bedroom scene is my first architectural rendering and I'm hoping that you guys could help me out to make it better. This image is straight out from the renderer, so no post processing is yet added. The model is model after great tutorial by Patan77. I used Marvelous Designer 2 for the pillows and the blanket. I used models from libraries for the plants inside and outside, the lamps and for the chair. The floor and texturing are done with Floor Generator and Multitextures from CG-Source. This is the first time using VRay for me. The lights are mostly VRay Sun and sky and I used some sky portals. Materials are mostly basic VRayMTL. Rendering time was around 4 hours with i7 2600k and 16gb of RAM. Some issues I'm going to work next: The concrete wall doesn't look good. The texture used is not tileable and it looks way too big. Also I bumped it too much and the reflections are wrong. Set decoration needs to be added. Light conditions in general. The bed material is a mixture of Substance maps and VRayDirt. UVW maps are wrong. Going to add color correction and subtle DOA in post. Thanks in advance! - Olly
