Mapping a texture to a cylinder: texture ratio problem

Hello!

I just spent an entire day figuring out how textures work in Vray mats. I put the desired texture where I want, but I still have ratio problem: the texture become a bit deformed at render time and I'm not able to solve this issue. I'm sure I miss something, but these are the first steps I move in Vray and I'm not able to find a solution. Maybe I should use another type of mapping, but I got no clues.

The model is a LEGO dude and the texture has simple eyes and mouth to applay on the face. The problem is that at render time the eyes are a bit elliptic instead of circular. Any suggestion?

I attach the two files (.max + .tif texture) plus two self-explaining screenshot. Thank in advance for the help.

I would suggest you have a good read of Max's Tutorial files as that should give you enough info to apply that texture.

I would just add a Box modifier and tweak the scale, should be nice and simple when you have gone through the tutorials.

I'll do. Btw, the texture seems to work fine as soon as I tried a more accurate rendering...

Thanks to all for suggestions
