atmokupe
Hey guys, I have this problem with rendering an exterior scene of a building. 1. The hdri sky i put isnt affectin the scene. 2. The walls are dull, and shadows are not obvious. I'm using physical camera, ir map & light cache. And also, the hdri shows in the viewport but not in the rendering pls i need advice. thanks Edited November 6, 2009 by atmokupe
STRAT
1. The hdri sky i put isnt affectin the scene. how are you applying it? put it in the environmental channel or map it in a vray dome light. play with it's multiplication factor. (dont even use one. you dont strictly need one) 2. The walls are dull, and shadows are not obvious. I'm using physical camera, ir map & light cache. how long is a piece of string??? there's literally a zillion ways to effectivly and correctly light in vray. you are not giving us any info here. from your brief question and lack of success, i'm assuming you're a vray nube. for this reason i suggest you go away and do some basic lighting and vray lighting tuts. these will solve these basic issues
