IC
Kasabian. It's like every group I liked 10 years ago (Stone Roses, Primal Scream, Happy Mondays) all rolled into one. Marvellous.
nisus
A special blues in a ten-tone scheme (instead of the usual twelve-ton) basicly go straight to IV after the turnaround instead of I... Easy but interesting to listen too, especially when played SLOW... ;-) rgds nisus

Ernest Burden III
A warning siren test for the Indian Point Nuclear Facility (just 10 miles to my north). It had better be a test! Damn that thing is loud! These tests are un-nerving. If this had been a real emergency, your ass is done for!
Juan Altieri
You've heard of the Smiths in Uraguay? That's freaky, is this just recently or from the mid 80's? I'm a smiths fan since 20 years, so morrissey (the ex-lead singer), was in argentina last year...(great show!)
Onslaught
Kinda disapointed with Morrissey, he was supposed to show up with Tears for Fears in San Francisco but had to cancel in the last minute. It's Ok though, Tears for Fears rock.

Jeff Mottle
A warning siren test for the Indian Point Nuclear Facility (just 10 miles to my north). It had better be a test! Damn that thing is loud! These tests are un-nerving. If this had been a real emergency, your ass is done for! LOL. I remember they used to do air-raid siren tests when I was a kid. They have all been taken down now though. Even though that was the peak of the cold war, who was going to bomb Calgary? Mind you there are about 50 US nukes somewhere in Montana, about 3 hours South I think.

IC
Just got a couple of new CD's: Burn the Maps by The Frames and LCD Soundsystem by LCD Soundsystem Can't stop playing The Frames. A group like that will never have that much success-they're too good! Like Radiohead would sound if they'd been influenced by The Pixies. LCD Soundsystem is like The Streets but for grown ups
