nicolastoubia
which program do you recommend to use for animations for buildings, houses etc? and why?
Corey Beaulieu
In short, I would use 3DS Max for ArchiViz. I don't know Artlantis, but C4D had a certain look to it that screams fake to me. It has its place in the world, more Motion Graphic, but I really hate seeing it in Architecture. 3DS Max is very robust and is easy enough to get going on. Francisco Penaloza
All depends of your budget and what type of animation you need, small scale, big scale, once a year animation. 3d Max is the Standard in the industry, has all the tool that you need and more to create great animations ($3675 USD), Cinema 4D also has great tools, new render engine is great, also you can add VRay if you like to more advanced renderings ($2294 USD). +(~$1K VRay) Artlantis, is a good small scale option, there is some plug in render that can give you good quality, but they are limited, not a real option for big scale animations, mostly just fly around, great and fast tool to create panoramas or Qtime VR. (~$1500USD)
