3ds Max Vray - Irradiance Map Pre Calc DR

Does anyone know if it's possible to do your Irradiance map pre-calculation using Distributed Rendering? I Have a very large animation and the pre-calc would go much quicker if I tap into our farm. Have a render farm with 16 blades and 24 threads per blade. 3ds Max 2015, Vray 3.

Yes....

 

Setup your DR and then un-tick Use Local Host in the DR Menu

 

..... though I'm just now realizing that you are asking about Animations..... I haven't tried this, but why not?

 

Lately we are using the "Use Camera Path" option instead of rendering every Nth frame. This greatly reduces the the amount of time it takes to pre-calc and offers a pretty clean result.
