Hii,

I've got this idea and it really is causing me headache,

If you ever played Call of Duty Black Ops,

you may have noticed how great the snow environment and other environments are!!

 

My qyestion is, How can I extract such environment from a game setup files?

Is there anyway to open it up in max maybe?

When you buy a game you do not actually own any of it, you just buy a license to play the game. So ripping assets is basically theft. To prevent this, usually files are stored in a custom format so that you would have to either convert the files or run them in a specific program to gain access to them. Make your own snow environment. There are lots of good tutorials around.
