Update Vray 3.3 - Very Slow

Hi to all,

 

Lately from friends and youtube videos I heard that Vray3.3 had a big improve in time saving and simplicity in the config, so I wanted to give it a try.

 

I just installed it and opened a file that I used with vray 3.2, and when opening it asked to use the new features, so I said yes, that was the aim of the change.

 

Surpirse though, it's really much slower than 3.2. Is there something I need to uncheck?

 

I'm really susprised :S A file that lasted 3-4 min (just 600px, text file) now it lasted 25 min.

As with everything in Vray settings matter a lot, you need to look a the new settings in 3.3 and figure out what's changed from 3.2. If you want help you need to post what your old & new settings are so people can try and diagnose it.

update to 3.40.01... much faster

Evening,

 

I tested several versions of the releases the 3.30.04, and the 3.30.05 and i came back to the 3.20 cause it took ages to render, really slowler.

Now i installed the 3.40.01 and after many tests its the same story...slower and i will come back again to 3.20.

Everything was ok during the installation so its not that, its not about older scenes opened with a new version, maybe there's something to check or uncheck or something i missed.

 

Does anybody got the same problem and maybe find a solution.
