alexgregg
Hell to everyone! I am dealing with a very strange issue in v-ray 3.40.01 in 3ds max 2016. I want to render an interior bedroom i made but when i am trying to render the full frame i get noise everywhere. The funny part is that when i am trying to render a small selected region of the image the noise disappears and everything seem fine, but when i render the whole scene the noise is back. It seems to my eyes that it's like vray cant finish the render so when i select a small region it is easier to render it. Any ideas what to do, or what might be the problem? Thank you! alexgregg
Thanks for the reply! Luckily i just figured out what i was doing wrong. Vray 3.40 has a default render time 1 minute, i changed it to 0 and now the result is perfect and takes around 100 passes to reach the quality i want. When it was at default 1 min of render time it my computer didn't have enough time to render to full performance so it only took 3 passes and the result was noisy bad.
