Chris MacDonald
That looks like glass/mirror material, no?
zigazupancic
Actually... first I had glossy solid black (240.240.240), than non reflective same black, and in the end (where the image is from) I made a vray mtl with a black jpeg as diffuse colour... same effect everytime... Chris MacDonald
Lighting is picked up on diffuse surfaces, so if your material doesn't have a particularly diffuse surface (pure black with reflections, for example) then you won't see any light on it.
