diuvermoya
Hi, I need urgent help, I´ve been having this very big problem with my 3ds max since version 2016, now with the 2018 version is the same and I don´t know why this is happening. I´ve been trying anything you can imagine but nothing works. I´ve already upgraded everything to the latest version, everything but Windows, and it´s happening on every machine that I use, it is like the file gets corrupted once it happens. The point is that when I hit any object in the scenes, suddenly the gizmo or the UCS going very far, the pivot point of the scene loses, then I have to switch viewports and press Z to get to the center of the model, this doesn´t happen when I look through a camera. Just now, I´ve added a vray proxy and it doesn´t happens. I don´t know what to think. I´ve tried to attached a video but I can´t do it. I need urgent help please, I´m in the middle of something important! Thanks in advance.
Nicolai Bongard
If youve tried "everything" I am not sure what to suggest, but you should perhaps ask your questions on the autodesk forums and supply them with computer specs and all other relevant information. diuvermoya
Hello Nicolai Bongard, thanks for your reply, I asked also on Autodesk forums (with a video demonstration) and solved my problem. It was a Viewcube or System Units issue or both. I´ll let the link to that post so maybe it could help others as well. To me was very helpful and again, it solved my problem, the most important. I hope you find it useful too. https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/3ds-max-forum/3ds-max-viewport-error/m-p/7320555#M143939 Thanks again!!!
Larissa Holderness
Is it a legit install - not pirated?
