  1. Forget about Z620, especialy used. beter build yourself the same system on a decent motherboard. I've bought used z620 with 1 year warranty and within that year I've sent it for replacement 2 times because of fried motherboards, some time ago the mobo fried third time, so I just stripped the cpus and ram from it and will build another system myself avoiding any branded workstation ever.
  2. The average salary in Kiev is somewhere about ~200$ and there's a lot of people who are getting way less and somehow they manage to survive. so getting 8x8x20=1280$ which is 6 times So for an average Ukrainian guy it would be a good deal.
  3. I'd double that, I use Kolor Panotour too and it does what it's intended to perfectly. Also very easy to use and learn the workflow.
  4. Jon, http://www.chaosgroup.com/public_images/VRguide_v1.pdf You might find some interesting thoughts in this document
  5. 6000x12000 px is insane and is an overkill imho. Tried switching from hemispherical pano to a cube map? As rendering six images in about 1500x1500px should be way faster. Also use denoiser for noise reduction.
  6. Since when is mac cheap? As I recall it is and always was almost twice as expensive as any laptop of the same specs.
  7. Personaly I work with Logitech Marathon m705 (bought a long time, like 5-6 years ago), but neither it's form nor weight will fit into your search terms. It's perfect form for my tastes and It has a side button situated near the curve for the thumb, I've assigned it as a middle button for Pan'ing and it's much more comfortable than pressing a mouse wheel (all of other mice I've ever used eventualy gets this button dead from constant pushing), and works like for 2 years with two AA batteries. I'd go with Logitech MX Master if I needed to renew the hardware.
  8. It's stereoscopic 360 pano rendering. It's more like it's the future of real estate marketing rather than future of CG.
  9. Well this situation is interesting for me to, I have project that I have no rights to publish the images I've made, but what if I render couple of shots for myself from slightly different angle with different light setup and etc. What then?
  10. Hey, guys. As I don't have a lot of pricing experience in EU countries (as i expect it to be quite higher than in my homeland), what would be a normal price per image to ask for my work in EU countries ? My portfolio could be found here https://www.behance.net/Freakaz thanks in advance
