  5. Hi. I've had my Archviz website on for a couple of months and I never did manage to get feedback on certain aspects like how user friendly and responsive it is. Putting this website up was the first step I took to start my own company. I'm still an undergrad studying Architecture but I'm very positive about the future. Is there anything I could do to improve the website? http://www.arcinvent.com

  12. A new Revit export plugin has been released! It is compatible with Revit 2014 / 2015 / 2016 / 2017. You can find them at the link: http://twinmotion.abvent.com/downloads/ In this new version, various bugs have been fixed. A new functionality has been added as well, which allows users to create .log files when error occurs. In order to use them, please first uninstall the previous release. After that, you can run the .msi installer. If the release number on the plugin interface in Revit is different than V 2.1.4, you may have to uninstall manually the old version. Please go to C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\2014, 2015 or 2016 (depending on your Revit release) and suppress the Twinmotion .addin. Then you could relaunch the .msi installation. Here is a recent video made by Polish architect Przemyslaw Gajowiak, rendered in Twinmotion Cheers, Twinmotion

  16. Im not sure if this topic has been discussed before, but here goes. I am currently an interior design student who has a strong interest in working within the architectural visualization field. Unfortunately it seems that (based on a number of previous discussions and job postings) that programs such as 3DS, VRay, and Rhino are all extremely important within the visualization community. I have extensive knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp, Twilight Render, Revit, and other supplementary photo editing softwares, but am afraid that this won't be enough. As an example, you can check out some of my academic work at http://www.colejohns.wix.com/portfolio. In addition, I am very willing to learn any new software that might be required, I just might not have those qualifications when applying to jobs. Could you all help a newbie out by giving me some advice? Thanks in advance!

  18. Sunyat China has shared his first project did with Twinmotion. Time for the project was very limited, that's why they tried it in Twinmotion to test its speed for rendering and project visualization. 3D model created in SketchUp and saved in .skp format. Imported directly in Twinmotion, they did some very quick actions like: replacing materials by Twinmotion's materials in the library, adding vegetations, people and vehicles, placing camera etc. During which they have also modified their SketchUp model and replaced instantly the old one in Twinmotion. Rendering images are exported with videos. From model import to video export, the whole process has taken this new user 2 days' work. The video is far from perfect, it lacks details etc. But for a first try, it's not bad isn't it? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3T9HHQZJJk Tianxiao
  19. Test did by Jason Lawford. "Twisty Towers - Fareham Hampshire New Development Test Animation. Modelled in ArchiCAD 19, animated in: The setting up of the model within animations programs, with materials, objects and timeline took roughly the same time. Artlantis Studio 6 - The processing took over 2 weeks to create the images that go together to make the animation. The overall quality of the images are really good, and the windows/glass has real reflections. Twinmotion 2016 - The rich environment and objects really do add to the resulting animation. The program is easy to use. The materials and resulting renders are not quite as good as Atlantis, BUT this really long animation length only took 3 hours to export. I really do love Twinmotion, and have so much more to learn about all of its features."

  21. 22. I saw an article, written by Lachmi Khemlani of AECbytes, a BIM thought-leader, he provides an overview of some of the key third-party AEC technology solutions diplayed at Autodesk University 2015. http://www.aecbytes.com/feature/2016/AU2015_Exhibitors.html The most important reason that I share this article, is because he has talked about his introduction to TWINMOTION too! He said that he was introduced to a new tool, well Twinmotion is not actually "new". My guess is that we are a French product, and we are still new to many American architects. His introduction is short but detailed. You can have an idea of what Twinmotion is after reading it. Of course, he has talked about many other new solutions, it's good to discover them anyway Questions about Twinmotion are very welcomed and have a nice weekend to everyone. Tianxiao Ka-RA / Twinmotion
