  4. A new Revit export plugin has been released! It is compatible with Revit 2014 / 2015 / 2016 / 2017. You can find them at the link: http://twinmotion.abvent.com/downloads/ In this new version, various bugs have been fixed. A new functionality has been added as well, which allows users to create .log files when error occurs. In order to use them, please first uninstall the previous release. After that, you can run the .msi installer. If the release number on the plugin interface in Revit is different than V 2.1.4, you may have to uninstall manually the old version. Please go to C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\2014, 2015 or 2016 (depending on your Revit release) and suppress the Twinmotion .addin. Then you could relaunch the .msi installation. Here is a recent video made by Polish architect Przemyslaw Gajowiak, rendered in Twinmotion Cheers, Twinmotion

  6. I saw an article, written by Lachmi Khemlani of AECbytes, a BIM thought-leader, he provides an overview of some of the key third-party AEC technology solutions diplayed at Autodesk University 2015. http://www.aecbytes.com/feature/2016/AU2015_Exhibitors.html The most important reason that I share this article, is because he has talked about his introduction to TWINMOTION too! He said that he was introduced to a new tool, well Twinmotion is not actually "new". My guess is that we are a French product, and we are still new to many American architects. His introduction is short but detailed. You can have an idea of what Twinmotion is after reading it. Of course, he has talked about many other new solutions, it's good to discover them anyway Questions about Twinmotion are very welcomed and have a nice weekend to everyone. 9. Hi all, As this site is dedicated towards cg architecture and other related stuff and i am into game art person so i handle some game engine like crytek and udk. While work on games part i saw lot of people have upload real time architecture walk through on youtube done in game engines. link So can anyone tell me is real time is the future of 3d architecture visualization.Do really companies demand for this kind of stuff or they still focus on V-ray quality. Thanks
  10. I'm curious to find out if there is a preferred software for doing a real time architectural walk through. I have seen various posts on the topic but they all seem to date back about 3 or 4 years, and most reviews of software at that point were not any good. I have used the C4 game engine before to do real time work, the workflow is a bit time consuming. So currently we are testing out plugin3d(formerly RTRE) however as I use it, it seems quite buggy. Example: I have a scene which is currently about 300,000 polys(which should be no problem for plugin3d, they claim millions of polys can viewed), I was doing tests with standard gray materials and everything worked fine, smooth walkthroughs, no problems. I wanted to try texture baking the floor material as a test, did that, put the material into a shell material and all of a sudden I can barely move within the viewport. I removed the shell material and put the baked map onto a single standard material, which seems to have worked....for now at least. Does anyone use plugin3d? Their support is seriously lacking and I have been hard pressed to find any type of help forum. Has anyone used Blender, Turn Tool or Eon for real time arch viz?
