  1. Hello my friends. I want to tell you about my experience in the field of 3d design from scratch, In my beginnings, there were many problems, one of which was the lack of information, And the high value of the programs, which was a budget that did not allow me to acquire the programs Which made me buy from cheaper sites for well-known suppliers of companies, like SOFTWARE BUTTERFLY
  2. Hello everyone, I am an architecture student currently in my 3rd year. I noticed this site has a lot of people from the industry frequently posting and sharing their advice. I wanted to learn 3ds max from the start all the way to the end. That meaning from the very basics of the software (tools, menus, options, etc) all the way to the end (Rendering, texturing, lighting, VRAY etc). Unfortunately for me, I'm not being able to find a complete A-Z guided list of tutorials (the way I mentioned earlier, from the start to end). Everywhere I've searched is either tutorials discussing very specific features of the software, or jumping right into somewhere just after the beginner lessons. If anyone would could recommend me a course/tutorial that covers all of this, no matter how long (50 videos, or 500), that would be really helpful to me. Please note that the only software I know is AutoCAD (proficient) and Sketchup (Basics). Thank you
  3. This new script I created will allow the user to unhide objects using mouse clicks by temporarily hiding the current scene and unhiding all hidden objects so you can pick the objects you like to unhide. After picking the objects you can right-click and your original scene is back again plus the objects you've picked. If you like the script you can download it from the description area on YouTube Demo link: https://youtu.be/1OiQxu8zKuc
  4. Hello guys!! (i am new on this forum, so sorry if i am violating some rules) I am looking for 3DS Max tutorials that are connected to architecture (no sculptures etc..). Right now i am watching tutorials from "thenewboston" (youtube), coz i heard they are really good, but they are actually pretty basic. Can anyone recommend me sth more profesional? I heard lynda tutorials and pluralsight are good. On the first view, i prefer second one, it looks more profesional (although for lynda you have to pay more). Thanks in advance for your help!
  5. Hey guys, I wanted to share with the community some of my recent tutorials I've been producing for creating interior scenes and props using 3ds Max and rendering in V-Ray. While I'm not a professional designer I do have quite a bit of experience with Max and I always find it useful to watch others work and problem solve and I love to record tutorials to help beginners and experts alike. The tutorial are all fully narrated (they can be quite lengthy for the larger scenes) but hopefully some of you will find them useful and learn a few tips and tricks. Here is a link to one of my most recent tutorials for how to create a cruise cabin, texture and render it in 13 hours. I've also just posted how to model, texture and render a ceiling fan, this is more of a beginners tutorial but has some good techniques as well. If you have any suggestions as to what you'd like to see feel free to comment as well as give me some helpful criticism for my tutorial, I always strive to make them better Happy Modeling, Eternal3lade
