AJLynn
I like that one! It would make a good dupe-a-photo subject.

Koper
I ran into this lady of the night earlier... Hmm, thought the angel were an optical illusion, a statue way infront of the building. Gr8 shot
AJLynn
Two for today: detail from a huge medieval bridge in Spoleto, and some pretty good coffee I had in Oxford. Adriaan, what is the building? I had a couple of ideas but I couldn't find anything that matched...
Koper
Shot July 11 2010 - The Calabash that held the worlds attention for 120min what an experience!!!
Koper
I bet you that coffee got cold before you stopped shooting. VERY nice shot! waht camera? or did you add the grain in post as i like the grain
AJLynn
Thanks, Adriaan. That was actually the only shot I took of the coffee, I used my Nikon F100 with ... actually I'm not sure which lens, probably the 50/1.8 ... and Tri-X 400, the grain is straight from the negative. Tri-X and Xtol give some nice results.
Claudio Branch
Better grain in the coffee than grinds...I bet that was a tasty cup too! I feel another foto coming up...

AJLynn
Thanks, but doesn't all B&W have grain? It's just some silver bits on some clear plastic
AJLynn
Here are the four major saints (Andrew, Longinus, Helena and Veronica) around the crossing (is that the right word? I always forget my church architecture words) in St. Peter's.
Tommy L
Here are the four major saints (Andrew, Longinus, Helena and Veronica) around the crossing (is that the right word? AJLynn
Not the transept - the square where the transept and the nave intersect. This is from the Umbria Jazz Festival in Perugia. These guys were pretty good.
Claudio Branch
Remember when you could smoke in-doors while at work? I do and it got me to wondering - how many freelancers here on the forum chain-smoke while working? I used to sit between two cats that were human smoke stacks...literally one cig after another! This shot is for all of the smokers here on the forum. You probably have to take it outdoors nowadays unless you are rolling solo... Dave Buchhofer
Another shot from DC, Union Station I love the sigma 10-20, but its really just not very sharp at all
Claudio Branch
Perhaps the lack of sharpness is due to the long shutter speed and being a handheld shot?
Dave Buchhofer
It was actually on a tripod, though i should have cranked up the Fstop some more
