paulfinch
Hi all We are trying to render a crowd using the multitexture plugin to randomise clothing. However when we use VRay DR each machine assigns a different texture per bucket Is there a fix for this?
Nicolai Bongard
Not a fix but a workaround, you could make a multisub material (or multisub texture with your clothing bitmaps loaded) and make sure the people in your crowd have different IDs? Corey Beaulieu
To add to Nicolai, If your clothing is it's own object and all contained in a single map, then a Material By Element modifier comes in handy.... just tell it how many IDs you want randomized and use that same number of IDs in your Vrau MultiSub Texture. It works great and won't assign differently per machine.
braddewald
Make sure your other machines have MultiTexture installed and that it's the same version.
