  2. Very nice! The comments that I have are the textures on the cabinets, they don't seem correct or atleast too bold for the scene. Lighting is very nice.
  3. Nice, nice work, Jeff! You have amazing talent dude! So are you liking the Iray stuff versus the old way of rendering?
  4. Studio/Institution: Consultant Genre: Commercial Interior Software: SketchUp, 3DMax2010, Photoshop Website: http://www.behance.net/Michael_Secrist Description: I wanted to show all of you a progress on a project that I'm working on for a company that will end up using this piece as an interaction tool on there website. I created this design on my own with direction from the client on how he envisioned this piece to look and work as far as the camera angle and actions that are to take place in the space. Modeled in SketchUp. The Furniture in the seating area were brought in from 3D wharehouse and modified for my use as well as the white machine to the right. Everything else was modeled by me in 3DMax. Photoshop was use to add more Ambient Occlusion. I would like to hear your thoughts on it. The final will have more people manning the registers and ordering food.
  5. Thanks ezb, Yes it would have been nice to place context around the arena. That was my intension but ran out of time to do so. The glow and neon light was done within mental ray using self illumination and the glow lume. A few adjustements and I feel that it work out well. The car streaks however were done in post with photoshop. Thanks!
  6. Studio/Institution: Visualization Consultant Client: SRA Genre: Residential Interior Software: 3DMax Design2010, SketchUp,Photoshop Website: http://www.behance.net/Michael_Secrist Description: Main space modeled in SketchUp, furniture modeled in 3DMax2010. Mental Ray was used for materials and rendering. Photoshop for the post production (2d people and color correction and AO pass) Thanks for Viewing!
  7. Studio/Institution: Visualization Consultant Genre: Commercial Exterior Software: SketchUp,3Dmax Design2010, Photoshop Website: http://www.behance.net/Michael_Secrist Description: Modeled in SketchUp mainly. The roof was conctructed in 3DMax 2010. Rendered using Mental Ray. All the people in the scene were all 3D. Cars and trees 3D as well and were proxied. Post production was done in Photoshop for color correction, background, and light streaks from cars. Thanks for Viewing!
  8. I agree with the comment about the warm and cool color combination. the person in the foreground needs to be adjusted. I think that his legs are too light for the space that he is in currently. Texturing looks nice.
  9. I agree with the comments above. Materials look nice especially the rug. Would you mind sharing on how you created the rug? Nice job overall.
  10. Overall nice rendering. The lighting seems to be a little bright. I think if you dim them down a little and warm the temperature of the lights and tone the glossiness of the ceiling I think it would help. pretty nice composition.
  11. Studio/Institution: Consultant Client: N/A Genre: Commercial Interior Software: SketchUp, 3DMax2010, Photoshop Website: http://www.coroflot.com/Res_Com_3D Description: Just finished this project over the weekend. Please let me know what you think Thanks! Modeled with SketchUP and 3DMax 2010. Materials, lighting, and rendering doen with Mental Ray. Photoshop for post production
  12. mmr, thanks! Yes I've been told the candles looked a bit strong. Thanks for also commenting. Nice gallery by the way.
  13. Great job! Other than the people in here it looks exceptional! Lighting looks natural, modeling and texturing look great and a simple composition. Looks great!
  14. Nice. I think the lighting could use some slight adjustment. It is close but the 3D part of the image has a warmer tone to it than the background image. I'm not sure if you were trying to make the stone wall match the images stone wall but you need a few of those dark stones and maybe make the stone larger and it would be close.
