  1. Hi all... I do 2 pc distributed rendering. For the texture path i keep all the necessary files to the 2nd pc 3ds max/sceneassets/images folder and it works fine for me. I need to know where should i keep the pre calculated light cache and irrediance map. Specially when I do animation rendering.
  2. First image will be the best among all the images. Though I'll change the sky if I were you. I think too much saturation or less saturation will not gonna save you. Building of the background as well as few cutout people sucks !!!
  3. mxartz@gmail.com ... (https://www.behance.net/piash_3d_Artist) knock me anytime if you need 3ds max v ray works ...
  4. It's gonna take a week to render interior animation if it takes 45 mins per frame... that is way to high. Specially if you don't have good cpu...
  5. Good attempt. You can get appreciation from many people. I am sure many people will be interested for your workshop. You can make it successful I am sure. It's the present condition I am worried about. Generally what happens in our local market. Still now it's a very low paying job. Clients don't have any headache about quality. They want low priced 3d works. And the freelancing sites are full of scums where you are in a competition to bid as low as you can. When people learns to model & know where he can get some free model then he is gonna leave you. More than that very few people have that patience & skill to dig deep in 3d world. That is the reality bro. There is no competition for upgrading skill. I think you can attempt to create a team of talented people with their own computer resources. Workshops can be done online. Can I have your skype?... My ID: maxartz.studio
  6. There must be a material which is not supporting your render engine. I got similar problem before. Adjusting material solved it.
  7. only suggestion is to use default v ray camera setting then play with those f no, shutter & iso
  8. You can get many meshes for free. But keep in mind they are not gonna be in good quality. If you need good quality meshes then buy them. Free sites: http://www.3dmodelfree.com/ http://archive3d.net/ http://artist-3d.com/
  9. Hey buddy.... this render settings varies from scene to scene. Better check you tube for tutorial. This link may help: http://vray2013.blogspot.com/2013/03/vray-tutorial-for-exterior-lighting.html
  10. Use light cache as secondary bounce. It can speed up your rendering. Brute force is a slow method. Check lights you used in the interior. Turning off the shadow can help. Also check material samples.
  11. May be it showed up. But was blended in animation. Came out in still image.
  12. Increase your hemispherical subdivision on irrediance map setting...
  13. Use black as diffuse color. You can uncheck fresnel with low reflection. Use full refraction with your desired glass color. Generally hdri lighting can give you very good reflection.
  14. Your config is good but not good enough. Can you please upload your rendered image & settings.
