  1. Hi all, When I try to put my design in context, with a real picture as background, the result is not great. The original context picture, before the render looks much better than after. Do you know perhaps why? Or maybe you could suggest me another way ho to properly place your design in context. Thank you Attached there are the 3dsmax file, the outcome render (WIP) and the original context picture.
  2. hi is ther any background environmental mesh plugin , contain building , trees and other some ?
  3. In 3ds Max 2013 I had no problems with creating background with photos in diffuse map. Now I installed version 2014 and the displayed image has nothing to do with my photo, the quality is terrible. Do you have any idea how to change that?
  4. Hi y'all, I am experimenting with v-ray for 3ds max. I am doing this online course at lynda wich is really great I do however get a problem that I don't know how to fix. When I change my environment Background color from black to white in 'environment and effects' it effects the whole light in the scene. Is there a way to untick that? I just simply want it as a background and nothing to do with the illumination of my scen. Thanks in advance! Best regards yours scincerely SLEDGEHAMMER!!!
  5. For everyone who is interested I have released my first collection of hdri sky and environment panoramas. http://www.fallingpixel.com/3d-artists/randomizer I made them in pretty high resolution to be suitable for HD rendering and high quality reflections. In the near future I will also make them available in the sIBL format for easier usage. Hope you like them Cheers
  6. hello all, I render shop interiors at work, and always need something to cover the area visible from the shop window to the horizon line, for views from various positions in the (proposed) shop. There is hardly ever photos of the site that match the perspectives, and so I usually just do nothing, as in the example. I was wondering how other people deal with this, other than using plants outside the window to cover the view, or implying that the view is from high up and only showing an abstract horizon?
