I'm just a bit afraid with the render time... let's see... before I select maxwell, think about it and finally say, it have worth! I think final image take amount 170 hours or more so I will keep turn on my computer! but let see what will become result. I'm very interest in maxwell. Beautiful quality. CPU: Intel 2.8 Dual Core VGA: Geforce Fx 7950 (hope 512 be in good price) RAM: 2 GB kingstone ddrII ECC I don't know what mother board will be good, so what you think? I going to buy it tomorrow... I enjoy for competition in hard challenges between great artists. as you say my friend I decide to make for practice to make more power in visualization and my skill. for it I need better computer that buy it. now need more and more and more and more .... practice and study exactly in lighting and define materials. I will in the challenge 2008. ...about the material, that seem good but I'm far to be an hardware specialist... especially if we considere the old material I have... ;-) hahaha... what you don't decide to buy better system, we can manage big project in low system but I think it's great for save times. my new system is very different with my old. P/S: sorry guys for delay. as you know, I buy new system and must analyze and move old data to new. also I'm wait for get vista 64bit to install 3dsmax9 64bit. I'm interest to see that 3dsmax64 bit how will work. I hear from some one that it's very faster as 32bit. just in vista, you lose 400mb ram without running any program! I want finish modeling so will work on two remained objects. Hard part of the project is there. all of three references are far from this complex statue that is in front top. this part is very important for me and like make good work. so will take more time for it. in my new system with 7600GT VGA I have more control in edges and polygons and it's great.
