    I've got a user on a Windows 7 (x86) laptop with Microsoft Office 2010 installed, alongside Microsoft Project 2007. Whenever he tries opening PPTX files, no actual content is displayed but instead, only what appears to be an icon representing a picture file right in the center of the screen. I've verified that a test file he cannot open is bad/corrupt because it isn’t opens just fine on my PC (Win 7, Office 2010). Regular PPT files seem to open OK on his computer. It's just the PPTX files that won't open properly. The strange thing is, there is no error message. I have included a screenshot of PowerPoint when it opens the file. Here's what I've tried thus far, to no avail: • Repaired the Microsoft Office Installation • Uninstalled Office 2010, rebooted and Re-installed Office 2010 • Ran the SFC /SCANNOW command in Windows • Ran CCleaner's Registry Cleaner to remove any erroneous entries that might be there I've searched around online but haven't come up with anything good that worked. Any suggestions

    Hello guys! I am looking for best tool for my little project - little office with few windows, desks chairs and monitors in 3D. I will use that model only for illustrative purposes you know so I dont wanna model all those little things like chair tables etc., is there some good software/library to use? Or is better to buy somewhere already finished model of some office and then only edit that model and where? Thank you very much! Michal

This time it´s an outdoor-visualization of an office building. We took a concept from a friendly architect and built on top of that. Right from the start it became clear to us, that we didn't want to go for a completely realistic approach. So we tried to create some stylized environment to help the building to better stand out of its surroundings. Later in the project we found it to be a bit too empty and lifeless, so we filled some stylized people into the scenery to make things more alive. We decided to go for some kind of tilt-shift approach in the final look to take advantage of the fact, that this was a personal reference project with room for stylistic experiments. The project was made with 3ds Max 2011, VRay 2.0 and AfterEffects for post-production. Here are some more close-ups: We hope you like it. Feel free to leave your opinion or critics.

Our client wanted to make a statement about their innovations when developing new products. This called for some cutting edge unique looking imagery which push the boundaries of modern furniture design. We designed everything from the ground up. We created all the main furniture and sets from scratch, developing them around the 5 trends of Linear, Classic, Coastal, Vintage and Rough Sawn which were laid out by our client. Each one represented the various new finishes of their "Fresh 2" collection. This project really highlights what we can do with an open brief and our ability to design as well as visualise. The team really worked hard to pull this off and keep pushing the designs to make something special and we are all well chuffed with the result.
