  1. I'm working on some renders for a company I work for, mostly interiors, and the goal is to make renders that look like they're a picture. I'm not that good at drawing the scene myself, so I use mostly existing scenes. But my problem is that they are simply not detailed and realistic enough. I was wondering if anybody here knows a place where I can buy/download 3d interiors that are photorealistic. I hope you guys can help me . Kind Regards, Youp
  2. Hey guys, I've been using 3ds max and vray for a while now and my renders are okay, but it's time to take things to the next level. I want to get that photorealistic look. The thing is, my renders seem to have dark spots on several surfaces (on the white and gray walsl) and I can't seem to get why. How can I make them disappear? Also if you have any suggestions on how to make it appear more realistic I'd appreciate it!

  4. I am tasked with rendering out a scene in 3D MAX for a client. They are pushing for photorealistic people in the rendering. Typically we just add shadowed silhouettes so for this version we bought some "Resort" people (Kids and adults) (beach, pool, etc) with Alpha channels and mapped them onto planes in the scene and rendered them. But the people are not all photographed with the lighting the same, some have broad daylight, some have cloudy diffused light, and the shadows on their bodys are all different. I have tried to google good resources and what works best, but not to much avail. What are good resources for this stuff? Is a alpha channel mapped photo on a plane a good way to go?
  5. My last post crashed so I repost it here, hopefully any of the admins can fix the issue Hi readers, I am currently learning V-Ray and I am having some issues archieving high realism. Besides the fact that my materials are 'bad' my main problem is getting the lighting right. I downloaded a model and added the lights myself. The result is this: This is bad compared to the stuff you guys make, but for me it is a pritty nice start I think. Then I made a model myself, used the exact same settings and added the lights but the result is crap lol (didnt spent time modelling, I just wanted to learn the lightning). I know using 'good' materials matter a lot, but besides the materials the lightning is very poor. Everything is kinda dark and nothing like the first render I did. (sorry for the brightness, output gamma was set wrong, normally this turns out very dark) I had to put the shutter speed on 10 to make everything not so dark, and the walls and everything are "white" but turn out much warmer i.e. orange / brown-ish. Compared to the first render (1st picture) where white is still white and the shutter speed is on 30. Can anyone tell me what is wrong, and how I can fix this (what settings) so I know what to look for in the future?
